WEAZEL News...
The LSPD is baffled by reports of people appearing out of thin air all around Los Santos. To complicate matters, a few that have been taken into custody on trespassing charges have claimed that they're from cities that don't exist. Some even say they're from the future or are actually aliens. Local authorities and experts are baffled about what could be the cause of both the hallucinations of randomly appearing people and the obviously insane claims that they're from non-existent locations. Conspiracy theorists are blaming government experiments and the liberal media says that pollution of the local drinking water is responsible.
Despite their obvious mental illness and dubious status as citizens of the United States, the Los Santos job market has opened their hearts and their wallets to these newcomers. The popular social networking site "Lifeinvader" has created a public community for them, and a number of local companies and business owners have been using that to post job openings. A manager of a local Burgershot had this to say-
"Yeah, it's great! I can pay them the same as I do other illegal immigrants. Twice the work for half the money. Man, these people are going to make me manager of the year with how much money I'm saving the company!"
It's also feared that the criminal underworld of Los Santos have also taken an interest in these untraceable new resources. With the increased security at Los Santos International Airport, private airline owners have been offering flights to and from Liberty City with minimal security checks. Secondary airfields have been supporting transport to Francis International Airport as well. The LCPD, when asked to comment on the situation, asked our reporter to stop bothering them on their break.

However they're sent to the universe is up to the player, but it's not them being drawn in, it's where they've been dumped into.
